Record wedding, Mitzvah or milestone stories with our custom HD video kiosk.

freebie-friday sparkly bottle

It would be fun to intersperse a sparkly bottle such as this one among your spirits at your venue’s bar. It is also SUPER easy to DIY. If the bar is backlit in a color it might look even better, but any light catching this will look pretty. Just don’t try to drink it! 🙂

You need:

  • A clear, empty wine bottle with a pleasing shape
  • Distilled water
  • Liquid glycerin (you can find this at your local pharmacy)
  • Glitter flakes, sequins, light plastic beads
  • Pretty lace or other embellishment to wrap around the bottle’s neck

Make your bottle:

  • Pour distilled water and glycerin into the bottle at a ratio of 1:1
  • Add glitter flakes and sequins
  • Close the bottle (with cork or screw top)
  • Wrap pretty lace around the bottle’s neck

You can add a few drops of your favorite food coloring color (blues and purples work well, but oranges and yellow can add a nice pop of color, too). Give the bottle a shake and watch the pretty glitter sparkle. The glycerine also creates a beautiful marbleized effect.
